The Students’ Association, more commonly known as Your Union, is run for students by students. We run Freshers’ week and host hundreds of amazing events throughout the year. Not only can you buy your tickets on this app, you can find out ways to join in by helping organise, publicise or even provide technical assistance for us.

Looking to get involved in other ways? Why not join one of our 160 societies and subcommittees? There are literally hundreds of activities to get involved in at St Andrews. You can help organise On the Rocks Art Festival, taste the gastronomic delights of the Fine Food and Dining Society, hitchhike for charity with the Charities Campaign, go hillwalking with Breakaway or try your hand at Quidditch with Dumbledore’s Army. If you can’t find the society for your favourite hobby, we will help you set one up yourself!

We are also your voice to the University, the local community, and the wider world. From the Students Representative Council (SRC) to School Presidents and Class Reps, we are the home of student activism and ensuring that students concerns are heard. You’ll also get all the need-to-know updates about student life.

You can get involved in student representation by joining one of our campaigns, by running to be a Class Rep in Semester 1, or by running to become a School President, an SRC or an SSC member during our March Elections.
